3rd 2010 "In House"Fun Fishing Tournament

FOR IN HOUSE - MEMBERS & GUESTS ONLY

We will be having another in house tournament and BBQ on Friday October 15th and Saturday October 16th.  We will also be having another Marine Flea Market.  We really need for club members to step up and make any merchandise donations that you can.  The club made $220 at the last Flea Market with donations from just a few club members.  Please check your garage for anything Marine related that you are willing to part with.  We will accept all donations at the next 2 meetings or if you need someone to pick the stuff up, please give me a call and I will arrange that for you.

All Proceeds to Benefit the Club.

 

Tournament Entrance Fee

$20.00 Entry Fee for Adult Members
($5, discount if paid by or before the, September 28th General Meeting)
$10.00 Entry Fee for Children under 16

TOURNAMENT RULES

  • Fishermen may choose either to fish Friday October 15th or Saturday October 16th.  Not both.

  • Fishing times each day will be sun-up until 1 PM.

  • Weight Master will weigh in fish from noon to 2:00 PM at the Boynton Boat Ramp Park pavilion.  Final weigh-in will be at 2:00 PM Sharp each day.  No exceptions.  Decision of the Weigh Master is final. 

  • Fish for this tournament are...... any species of fish, of legal size and type, according to Federal and Florida Law, except Shark or Bonita. 

  • All fishermen must have a valid Florida fishing license or be exempt. 

  • Fishermen may choose to fish from shore, pier, private boat, or drift boat.  

  • Anglers may use live or dead baits as well as artificials.

  • No line restrictions   Wire lines allowed.

  • All fish must be caught on a Rod and Reel

  • No hand lines or electric reels permitted.

  • Kites, Down-riggers, and planers are allowed.

  • All fish to be weighed must be whole.  No mutilated fish.

  • No fish will be transferred between boats.

  • A club weigh slip will be required for all fish presented to the Weigh Master.  Weigh slips will be available from the weigh-master at the weigh-in.

  • Trophies will be given for each of the top (3) three largest fish by weight.  Only (1) one Award per angler.

  • All junior anglers will receive a participation award.

 

 

Presentation of awards will be at or around 2:30 PM Saturday October 16th.  A barbeque will also be held between Noon and 3:00 PM at the Boat Ramp pavilion.  All members and guests are
